IRENET is committed to promoting gender equality, equal opportunities, and an inclusive organisational environment across all areas of its activities.
The Gender Equality Plan for 2026β2029 defines the objectives, measures, and responsibilities related to the equal participation of women and men in governance, research and project activities, professional development, decision-making, and the Associationβs public engagement.
The Plan also covers monitoring of relevant indicators, awareness-raising activities, prevention of discrimination and harassment, and integration of a gender perspective into IRENETβs projects, research, and other activities.
The implementation of the Plan will be monitored regularly and revised where necessary throughout its period of application.
